Fish Farming Program Features:

  • Modern fish pond farming in rural areas
  • Training youth and families in fish farming techniques
  • Supplying fish to hotels, markets, and institutions
  • Healing and learning tours at the fish farms
  • Employment opportunities for vulnerable groups
  • Sustainable income generation for communities
  • Food security and nutrition improvement
  • Environmental conservation through aquaculture

The project serves as both an economic empowerment initiative and a therapeutic space where community members can engage in meaningful work while receiving mental health support.

Current Operations:

We currently operate 2 fully functional fish ponds housing approximately 8,000 fish. Our expansion plan includes the development of 6 additional ponds, which will significantly increase our production capacity and create more employment opportunities for local community members.

Training and Capacity Building:

Our comprehensive training program covers all aspects of fish farming, from pond construction and water management to fish feeding, disease prevention, and harvesting techniques. We work closely with youth and families to ensure they have the skills needed to establish their own successful fish farming ventures.

Market Connections:

We have established strong partnerships with local hotels, markets, and institutions to ensure a steady demand for our fish products. This creates a reliable income stream for participants and contributes to the local economy.
